Our Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) training is a new offer for this academic year and these sessions will be run in collaboration with Cambridgeshire Virtual School. Participants will gain an understanding of the historical context of alcohol misuse, the prevalence of FASD and consider how this may impact on both learning and development.
Practical strategies to support children with FASD and pathways towards diagnosis will be explored. In order to promote a holistic approach to supporting children - education settings, social care colleagues and parents/carers are invited to attend.
All sessions are held in person. This training welcomes delegates from a number of different areas including education and social care staff, families and carers.
