Peterborough Virtual School is a team of teachers and dedicated education professionals who work to support the education and improve educational outcomes for all Peterborough children and young people who have or have had a social worker.
At Peterborough Virtual School, we work with partners across education, social care and beyond to champion the educational experiences, progress and outcomes of children known and previously known to social care.
Our role brings together support, information, advice and strategic leadership for children and young people in care, care leavers, children previously in care, children with or who have had a social worker, and children living in kinship care arrangements.
Our vision is for every child known and previously known to social care to be seen, understood, included and supported to thrive. Our values are rooted in ambition, belonging, collaboration and a shared commitment to improving children’s lives through education.
This website is designed to be a welcoming place to access information, advice and guidance, share best practice, and understand the multi-agency work taking place to support children and young people across Peterborough.
