That’s why we continue at Peterborough Virtual School, to offer support to help you access education, employment and training opportunities. If you're a care leaver, we can provide support and work with you to explore your options and guide you through the next steps. Whether you're thinking about college, university, apprenticeships, or employment, there is support to help you make informed choices and achieve your goals.
We work closely with your Personal Adviser (PA) who can also get in touch with us on your behalf, so don’t hesitate to reach out to them if you’re interested in getting support.
All young people supported by Peterborough Virtual School are able to access the Xello platform
Xello is a bespoke pathways and planning platform designed to help young people explore interests, build self-awareness and plan next steps. If you would like support to identify your strengths and interests, build a portfolio of achievements and explore employment pathways then scroll to the bottom of this section to find out how to get started.
In addition to all the benefits mentioned above Xello is used extensively across the Virtual School supporting with:
- Engagement with self-assessments to support you in understanding where you might fit in the world
- Put students at the centre of their planning journey, allowing you to build self-knowledge, explore options, create actionable plans, and develop skills for the world of work
- Support care leavers and vulnerable youth by offering personalised Education, Employment and Training (EET) plans that aid with re-engagement opportunities and prepare for the future
