Peterborough Schools and Settings Finance Team

The Schools & Settings Finance Team provides a statutory finance function to Schools & Private, Voluntary and Independent (PVI) Settings as well as a traded service to schools.

• Maintain and update statutory guidance to schools and settings; providing clear guidelines on the operation of their finances.
• Maintain, model and publish schools and settings budget allocations generated following national guidance, regulations and consultation with Schools Forum.
• Monitor schools finances to ensure they are being conducted in a manor compliant with statutory regulations. Report the schools financial position via a number of statutory returns.
• Provide schools with financial advice and guidance.
